Nature is a luxury
Facing the Verdon mountains and at the foot of the Lure mountain, the Jas de Péguier, a group of sheep pens in stone from the 17th century, forms a unique environment which today combines authenticity and tranquility. In this lodging, everything evokes Provence and its ancestral traditions, a time when mountain agriculture and breeding reigned supreme. The small hut to store tools and the “aiguier”, an old well protected by a rounded stone building, are still there.

The Jas is set in 2.5 hectares of land in which you will discover a young arboretum of more than 1000 species of trees and shrubs from the region and beyond. More than 100 olive trees allow us to produce our own organic olive oil. Protected natural areas preserve an endemic and melliferous vegetation. Carpets of wild flowers such as “la Farigoule” (wild thyme in Provencal) change with the seasons.

The rooms of the domain are all different, elegant, cosy and comfortable. They offer a clear and unobstructed view of the olive trees, the mountain peaks or the mountain of Lure. All the rooms have an independent entrance and a private terrace or garden. During your stay in one of our guest rooms, you will have access to the common area with a well-equipped kitchen, a living room and a sunny terrace equipped with a small bar, a barbecue, a petanque court and games such as ping-pong, table football and board games. You will be able to take advantage of small resting spaces full of charm such as the jacuzzi area with a wide view over the ruins of the old village of “les Chabannes” and the overflowing infinity pool lined with Mediterranean plants.

A friendly and authentic atmosphere
The gîte rural is an independent stone house of Provencal architecture dating from the 17th century and renovated for optimal comfort. It offers a panoramic view of the Verdon mountains and overlooks the olive trees. This house, on 3 levels, has 4 bedrooms, 2 of which are on the same level, for up to 8 guests.

A perfect setting for organising your events
We put at your disposal the whole of our domain. Our 9 authentically decorated rooms can accommodate 27 guests. The exterior and interior common areas are equipped and fitted out for 80 guests.
